I began to study English in the second form and by now I have been learning this language for 9 years.
I like English; I think any foreign language helps to understand your own language. The English language is one of the most important languages in the modern world; more than one billion people can speak or understand this language. This language is the official language in such countries as the United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the South-African Republic, India, and many African countries.
English is one of the five official languages of the United Nations Organization. English is the language of great English literature. It is the language of Shakespeare, Byron and Charles Dickens. From early childhood we enjoy the books by English writers — who do not know Winnie-the Pooh, Sherlock Holmes or Robinson Crusoe!
But the English language is also the language of science — most of the scientific magazines in the world are published in English. It is impossible to be a good scientist without knowing this language. That is why I pay much attention to English and I hope that in the future I shall know this language well.

Я почав вивчати англійську мову в другому класі, і зараз я вивчаю цю мову вже 9 років.
Мені подобається англійська, я думаю, будь-який іноземна мова допомагає зрозуміти ваш рідну мову. Англійська мова є однією з найбільш важливих мов в сучасному світі, понад мільярд людей може говорити або розуміти цю мову. Ця мова є офіційною мовою в таких країнах як Сполучені Штати Америки, Канада, Австралія, Нова Зеландія, Південно-Африканська Республіка, Індія і багатьох африканських країнах.
Англійська є однією з п'яти офіційних мов Організації Об'єднаних Націй. Англійська мова є мовою великої англійської літератури. Це мова Шекспіра, Байрона і Діккенса. З раннього дитинства ми читаємо книги англійських письменників - хто не знає Вінні-Пуха, Шерлока Холмса або Робінзона Крузо!
Але англійська мова є також науковою мовою - більшість наукових журналів у світі на англійській мові. Не можна бути хорошим вченим, не знаючи цієї мови. Ось чому я приділяю велику увагу англійській та сподіваюся, що в майбутньому я буду знати цю мову добре.
