Кіно було винайдено братами Люм'єр. Вони зробили перший фільм, який тривав всього 1 хвилину. З тих пір кіно стало одним з найпопулярніших мистецтв в світі.

Фільми можуть бути художніми або документальними, звуковими і німими. Художні фільми є, як правило, звуковими і кольоровими. Мультфільми також дуже популярні не тільки серед дітей, але і дорослих.
В даний час ми можемо дивитися різні види кінофільмів. Є ті, які розповідають про життя людей, сьогодення і історії нашої країни. Є також комедії, трилери, драми і детективні фільми.
Думки людей в питанні, які фільми повинні проводитися, розрізняються. Деякі люди, особливо молоді, вважають, що кіно має бути місцем, де можна скоротати час після робочого дня. Інші кажуть, що фільми повинні бути різними, серйозними і смішними.
Я думаю, що кінотеатри не так популярні сьогодні як на початку століття, тому що тепер кожна сім'я має телевізор і навіть відеомагнітофон, і люди не хочуть нікуди їхати, якщо вони можуть сидіти в зручних кріслах і дивитися те, що вони хочуть. Зараз відеофільми привертають багато молодих людей.
